Alright, convince me - why do I need a wedding planner or coordinator??
As Shelby would answer, “When you look back at your wedding photos, you won’t just see the beautiful images; you will relive the emotions and experience of your wedding day. Hiring a planner/coordinator will have a great impact on how you remember your day.”
Courtney expertly shares, “Imagine you’re the host on Thanksgiving; if you don’t have a ‘Thanksgiving’ planner, you’re the designer, the set up crew, the cook, the greeter, the toaster, aaaand the strike crew.” Yikes! Hiring a planner delegates aaaaaall of those responsibilities elsewhere and allows you to simply enjoy the wedding day and experience all of the wonderful emotions.
How far are you willing to travel to plan/coordinate our wedding?
In the last year alone we worked on both the East coast (Durham, NC) aaaaand the West coast (San Diego, CA) (and bunches in the middle!)! We’ve even been as far South as Belize (can anyone say “destination wedding”??). While we love to share our expertise and top-tier vendor connections in NM, we LOVE exploring and coordinating throughout the USA and beyond!
We have a LOT of family and friends and we want to invite everyone. Can you handle BIG events?
Heck yeah! The more the merrier! With larger events, there are often times more moving parts, which adds more fun pieces to your wedding puzzle. In that case, we would simply need to add on additional staffing services to make sure your every detail is executed perfectly for you.
What’s the most unique wedding you’ve coordinated?
Well, a destination wedding in Belize was definitely one for the books, but locally we were honored to coordinate a wedding on the morning of the first mass ascension at Balloon Fiesta! The bride and groom said their vows just outside the basket and were then whisked away on one of the first balloons to take off that morning. It was magical! Do you require a deposit? If so, how does the remaining payment work?
Yes, a 50% non-refundable deposit is due at signing. The outstanding balance is due 30 days before the scheduled event. Any additional billed hours/services will be billed after the wedding using a credit card on file. A cancellation will not result in any refund. Please note that package prices listed do not yet include a 7.625% NM sales tax.
We’re new to wedding planning. Can you tell us a bit about the process?
We start by customizing a client portal for you which acts as your wedding life line. Everything goes in here - contracts, budgets, vendor specs, meeting agendas, checklists, we could go on and on! We’ll visit this portal LOTS, especially in our monthly meetings - grab a drink and let’s dive into the planning portal with specified tasks and homework! We’ll be working closely throughout the entire process and we’ll hold you hand through every hurdle. Our goal is to bring you to the finish line having thoroughly enjoyed the race!
I’m on a budget, can wedding planning fit into my budget?
Everyone deserves to have an amazing wedding day, regardless of budget! If hiring a planner doesn’t fit in your spreadsheet well, we’d still love to share our knowledge and experience through Wedding Coaching! Bring your questions because we’ve got the answers! Then, consider bringing us onto your team as a month-of coordinator to help you tie up all of your intentionally-planned details. We highly respect your ceiling of comfortable spending, which is why we have budget minimums in order to book our full-service planning package. These minimums are based upon guest count and start at an overall day-of wedding budget of $65k for up to 100 guests.
